Bismillahir-rahmanirrahim
From the letters of the Jurist Sīdī Muhammad Aknusūs, may Allah be pleased
with him
And know, O bother that no one approaches Allāh sincerely, with his inner being
except that Allāh approaches him apart from all of existence. So he will not fail
to obtain anything of the good of this world or the hereafter.
And I had been writing to you about what I think: that Ṣalāt al-Fātiḥī li mā
ughliq in this time is more endowed than all other remembrances and more
effective than all other secrets. And if only you were to remember it just as I
have informed you, as part of your litanies 2000 in the day and the night, in
addition to the (obligatory) litany. For that is the Greatest Treasure, and the
Philosopher's Stone.
So, put all of your effort into being consistent with it and be ever vigilant at its
blessed door, which is the door to the Presence of Allāh and His Messenger. For
you will verily attain by it jewels , charismatic talents, secrets, lights, and
gnosis, the worth of which cannot be measured. Whenever your concentration is
set upon it, you will realize this, whatever be the circumstance. This is
especially the case if you were to remember alongside it the Name that begins,
"Yā Ghiyāthī ʼinda kulli kurbatin....." 99 times per day, or after every obligatory
prayer- for the one who is able to. For anyone who sticks to that will discover
all of the Secrets with ease, without any trouble, any hardship, any difficulty or
condition.
And know that the People say that the Secrets have prescribed times and
assigned limits. And it is not possible to receive anything from it before its time,
nor after its time has expired.
I also had been informing you about Shaykh Abu Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ, that his
Shaykh Abu Madyan al-Ghawth had directed him to Shaykh Mawlānā ʼAbd al-
Qādir al-Jīlānī, may Allāh be pleased with them all.
Then, Abu Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ went to Baghdād. And Shaykh al-Jīlānī entered
him into seclusion for three consecutive forty day periods, that is to say one
hundred twenty days. But, there was no change in his spiritual state. So, he
returned him to his shaykh Abu Madyan. And he stayed with him for a long time
until the time came and he received his opening.
We only mention to him the traditions of the righteous to give lessons by their
remembrance, to convince living hearts, and to sow in them the longing for the
Bounty of Allāh.
Verily, this time in which we find ourselves does not support any great struggle
whatsoever. And it is not possible to travel to any far off summit. And every
door has been locked, as Shaykh Zarrūq and others have said. And there does
not remain open any of them except the door of blessing upon the Messenger of
Allāh, may Allāh bless him and grant him peace.

The Importance of Salatul Fatih
Sidi Ahmad Tijani said:
If I should express what Allah is to me and my companions
reward
with the salat al Fatihi,
then the great god-connoisseurs (akabir al arifin) would kill me with united
forces . "
(From the Epistles of Sidi Muhammad ibn Ahmed Akansus)
"The great reward that Allah has reserved for those who recite the Salat al
Fatihi is not to be mentioned, and it will only be visible in the Hereafter."
Sidi al Haj Ali Harazem comments:
"The reason is that this prayer itself
the Holy Essence of Allah (Kalam Dhat al Muqaddasa)
and thus no result of human activity. "
And of the benefits of reciting this prayer is that it is the one who speaks it
before the hellfire (fidya mina an nar) ...
... and to those who recite it, Allah will forgive all his sins,
even if he was 100,000 years old.

600000 Birds From Each Recitation of
salatul Fatih
Sayyidina Shaykh Ahmad al-Tijani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I asked
the Master of Existence (salla Allahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam) if this hadith
was authentic. He replied that it was authentic ... I then asked him if one bird is
created for Salat al-Fatihi with that description? He replied that 600,000 birds
with that description are created for each recitation of Salat al-Fatihi"
The Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam) said, "No servant prays
upon me except that the prayer exits from his mouth with such speed, staying
neither in the seas nor on lands, east or west except passing by them all and
saying 'I am the Salawat of Fulan bin Fulan, pray then upon Muhammad the
Chosen, the Best of Creations (salla Allahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam) ;
nothing remains therein except that they too pray upon him and Allah shall
create from that Solawat a bird which as 70,000 wings and in each wings there
are 70,000 feathers and in each feather there are 70,000 faces and in each
face there are 70,000 mouths and in each mouth there are 70,000 tongues and
each tongue praises Allāh in 70,000 languages and Allāh shall write from him
[the reciter] the reward of them all.

Question:
Assalam u alayekum !
There is some info given on http://www.dar-sirr.com/Tijanism/Salat-al-
Fatih.html regarding salaat al faatih. Can you please confirm this info? i.e is it
really so great in its fazaail that it is even greater than dalail ul kherat in
blessings?
shukran ya syyedi.
Answer:
`Alaykum as-Salam,
The wording of Salat al-Fatih is for the most part that of a report from our
liegelord `Ali ibn Abi Talib (Allah ennoble his face) as his own saying narrated by
Sa`id b. Mansur in his Sunan, Ibn Faris in his monograph on Salat on the
Prophet (upon him blessings and peace), al-Tabari, al-Tabarani, al-Ajurri in al-
Shari`a, and others as stated by al-Haythami in Majma` al-Zawa'id (10:254),
Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari (11:163), Ibn Kathir in his Tafsir under verse 33:56. It
is often cited in the books of difficult Arabic words such as al-Zamakhshari's al-
Fa'iq, Ibn Qutayba's Gharib al-Hadith and others. This is the wording:

Sharh of Salatul Fatih By Shaikh Qandusi
R.A
"The statement in Salat al-Fatih from the Great Axial Master and renowned
Prophetic Heir, my master Ahmad al-Tijani (Allah be pleased with him and be
pleased with us on his behalf), 'the Opener of what was sealed' means: the
Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) is the opener of the cosmic
forms, for they were 'sealed' behind the veil of hiddenness (butun) and in the
form of non-existence; their locks were opened through the existence of the
Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and came from the form of non-
existence into the form of existence, from its veiledness in the realm of
hiddenness into themselves within the realm of manifestation through him. For
were it not for the Prophet, Allah would not have created existents or taken
them from non-existence to existence. This is one of the meanings of the
phrase. Another meaning is that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him
peace) opened the locks to the doors of divine mercy, and because of him those
doors were opened for creation. Had Allah Most Exalted not created our master
Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), not a single existent would
have received divine mercy. Allah's mercy to creation is therefore by means of
His Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace)…"

BUHARI & NATIONAL ASSEMBLY (2018 BUDGET WAR)
Buhari:
How National Assembly mutilated budget
President Muhammadu Buhari told a shocked nation today how the National Assembly mutilated and rewrote the budget proposals for 2018 as presented by the Executive last November.
In a brazen usurpation of executive powers, the National Assembly slashed 347 billion Naira in the allocations to 4,700 projects submitted to it for consideration and introduced 6,403 projects of its own amounting to 578 billion Naira, President Buhari said.
He spoke at the signing of the budget in Abuja, seven months after it was presented to the National Assembly.
President Buhari said the various projects for which the National Assembly denied funds are critical and may be difficult, if not impossible, to implement with the reduced allocation.
Among them are the Mambilla Power Plant, Second Niger Bridge/ancillary roads, the East-West Road, Bonny-Bodo Road, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Itakpe-Ajaokuta Rail Project. President Buhari said the National Assembly slashed funding to them by an aggregate of 11.5 billion Naira.
” Similarly, provisions for some ongoing critical infrastructure projects in the FCT, Abuja especially major arterial roads and the mass transit rail project, were cut by a total of 7.5 billion Naira.
“The provision for Rehabilitation and Additional Security Measures for the United Nations Building by the FCT, Abuja was cut by 3.9 billion Naira from 4 billion Naira to 100 million Naira. He said the cutting will make it impossible for the Federal Government of Nigeria to fulfil its commitment to the
United Nations on this project.
Also affected are the provisions for various Strategic Interventions in the health sector such as the upgrade of some tertiary health institutions, transport and storage of vaccines through the cold chain supply system, provision of anti-retroviral drugs for persons on treatment, establishment of chemotherapy centres and procurement of dialysis consumables were cut by an aggregate amount of
7.45 billion Naira.
Another is the planned security infrastructure for the 104 Unity Schools across the country. The National Assembly cut the budget by 3 billion Naira at a time when securing our students against acts of terrorism ought to be a major concern of government.
The National Assembly reduced the provision for the Federal Government’s National Housing Programme by 8.7 billion Naira. It also slashed the funding for Pension Redemption Fund and Public Service Wage Adjustment by N5billion, at a time when government is working with Labour to address compensation-related issues.
Also cut by N14.5billion were the provision for Export Expansion Grant (EEG) and Special Economic Zones/Industrial Parks, which are key industrialisation initiatives of this Administration.
The National Assembly reduced the funding for the completion of the Terminal Building at Enugu Airport from 2 billion Naira to 500 million Naira, an action the President noted, would further delay the completion of this critical project.
Slashed also was the take-off grant for the Maritime University in Delta State, a key strategic initiative of the Federal Government. It was cut from 5 billion Naira to 3.4 billion Naira.
The president noted that Some of the new projects inserted by the National Assembly have not been properly conceptualised, designed and costed and will therefore be difficult to execute”.
” About seventy (70) new road projects have been inserted into the budget of the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing. In doing so, the National Assembly applied some of the additional funds expected from the upward review of the oil price benchmark to the Ministry’s vote. Regrettably, however, in order to make provision for some of the new roads, the amounts allocated to some strategic
major roads have been cut by the National Assembly.
“Furthermore, many of these new projects introduced by the National Assembly have been added to the budgets of most MDAs with no consideration for institutional capacity to execute them or the incremental recurrent expenditure that may be required.
” As it is, some of these projects relate to matters that are the responsibility of the States and Local Governments, and for which the Federal Government should therefore not be unduly burdened.
“Another area of concern is the increase by the National Assembly of the provisions for Statutory Transfers by an aggregate of 73.96 billion Naira. Most of these increases are for recurrent expenditure at a time we are trying to keep down the cost of governance.
“An example of this increase is the budget of the National Assembly itself which has increased by 14.5 billion Naira, from 125 billion Naira to 139.5 billion Naira without any discussion with the Executive”.

NDA RECRUITMENT... BE WARNED!
Jj
Nigerian Defence Academy speaks on recruitment
Published on June 21, 2018
By Wale Odunsi
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has warned members of the public to be wary of misleading vacancy announcements claiming it was recruiting.
In a statement on Thursday by Major Musa Yahaya, the NDA appealed to Nigerians not to fall victims to fraudsters.
He said: “The attention of the Nigerian Defence Academy has been drawn to the activities of some scammers and admission racketeers on Face book and other social media sites impersonating the Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy and thereby defrauding potential cadets and their parents of their hard earned money.
“The fake Facebook accounts and social media sites / syndicate calls for people who are interested in admission into 70 Regular Course and 77 RRI to call a certain phone number or pay money into some account numbers.
“We wish to state unequivocally that such Face book posts and social media sites are all the handiwork of fraudsters and DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY. It is the concorted work of fraudters and we therefore warn all law abiding Nigerians not to have any dealings with this syndicate as doing so will be at their own peril.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade is a seasoned senior officer of the Nigerian Armed Forces who has had a long, meritorious and illustrious service to the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

ARGENTINA AND BLACK PEOPLE HISTORY...
......... T truth must be told.......
"As I watched the Argentina and Iceland match today and wondered why there were no black players in the Argentinean team when other South American teams had black or biracial players, I remembered a conversation I had last year.
It was while I was on a cruise from Florida to the Grand Cayman Islands in the Caribbean.
Between an Argentinean doctor and myself, who had walked up to me during lunch one day and struck up a conversation with me.
There was no hiding the attraction.
We had bonded much to the chagrin of her three Argentinean friends.
On the deck of the ship that day, she kept going on about how she loves black men and looks forward to traveling so she can meet them.
I asked her.
"Don't you have black people in Argentina?"
She said with a matter of fact candour.
"No. Long time ago, after slavery, we killed them all."
I was taken aback.
She smiled.
And continued.
"Very bad. I am ashamed of my people. It was very systematic though. Very well thought out. First they forced most of the men to fight for Argentina against Paraguay. They knowingly sent them into battles that were poorly planned so that the Paraguay army will do for them what they couldn't themselves do. Kill the blacks. Most of them died there. The remaining of them they forced to live in this province were there was a plague. A disease that the government refused to curb so that it can also do for them what they couldn't do. Kill the blacks. The refused to set up hospitals, clinics, adequate shelter, food outlets, nothing. They created the best environment for the disease to thrive. It killed the rest of the men that had survived the war. The darker you are, the higher the chance they will send you to that place to live or to the war to die. The lighter skinned women they forced them to sleep with the white men, so that their children are biracial, then they forced the children when they grew older to sleep with white men, so that the blackness of the skin of the children became whiter and whiter until there was no longer any visibly black people seen. It was so bad that blacks fled to Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil and even Paraquay where they were better treated even though not as well as they should be treated as human beings deserving full equality. Atleast those ones did not want to kill them and accepted to give them protection and a means of livelihood. As a matter of fact in Chile, there was a city called Arica where Black people were so accepted and respected that in the 1700s two black free man, one called Anzuréz were elected mayors. But the white colonial masters from Spain came six months later and nullified the elections, they were afraid of other cities giving black people too many rights. But the blacks who had found succour did not complain, they sent word for others to flee Argentina and come join them. Afterall what was cancelled elections compared to certain death?"
Then she went silent as though trying to replay the magnitude of the crime in her mind again. Then she said it in a sombre tone in order to drive it home to me.
"The ones the Argentineans did not kill through war or disease, and rape and impregnate, fled the country and ultimately we got rid of the blacks."
I listened in rising sorrow.
She continued academically.
"So although they abolished slavery in 1815 in Argentina, it continued until 1853, after that the main preoccupation of the leaders was how to get rid of the black slaves and their descendants. Our president who ruled us from 1868 to 1874, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, wrote in his diary in 1848, this was long before he became president and slavery ended that - 'In the United States… 4 million are black, and within 20 years will be 8 million…. What is to be done with such blacks, hated by the white race?' - It shows that he was already thinking of how to eliminate black people before he became President and when he became President, he succeeded."
"Didn't the world say anything?"
"No. They ignored it. I am sure most of them wanted to do the same thing but failed. At that time, they admired them. I remember when I will go to Brazil as a child, my father's friend will say in disgust as he looked at the black Brazilians - we should have had your guts and finished them off. All of them. Make Brazil white just like Argentina."
"And the Europeans?"
She laughed.
"It is an open secret, just like King Leopold and his genocide in Congo. No one talks about it, but they know about it. Atleast the older ones do. The younger ones not so much. Why do you think all the Nazis ran to Argentina after World War 2?"
I was silent.
She continued.
"Because it was the perfect place for the most evil racists in history to live."
Then she looked out to the infinitely blue sea around the ship and sighed audibly before she continued.
" Sadly, to some extent, it still is welcoming and accomodating of racial hatred. We took the Tango from the African slaves and made it our own. In Argentina, not one person will tell you the true history of that dance. They don't want to associate it with Africa. In fact if you ask them about black people in Argentina they will tell you that there has never been black people in Argentina. They teach them in schools. They rewrite the history. They make it all white. And as I said it is all underneath the surface. They never come out and say we hate black people. Argentina is only for whites or anything like that. They have just fixed the country to only be for white people."
I looked at her friends, Argentineans like her, who were lounging on the chairs on the deck, clad in their tiny bikinis, drinking pina coladas and smiling.
She followed my gaze and then turned to me.
"Don't be fooled by all those smiles, scratch the surface and you will see that all they want is for you to disappear."

OFFICIAL VERSION
Decline of the Afro-Argentine population
The bloody Paraguayan War(1865–70) and the Yellow Fever epidemic have been considered causes of the drastic diminution of the Afro-Argentine population.
Causes of reduction
Heavy casualties caused by constant civil wars and foreign wars: Blacks formed a disproportionate part of the Argentine army in the long and bloody War of Paraguay (1865–1870), in which the loss of lives on both sides were high. Heavy casualties among blacks led to a large gender gap among the black population which led to black women increasingly forming relationships with white people.
It has been alleged that Argentine President Domingo Sarmiento sought to eliminate blacks from the country in a policy of covert genocide through oppressive policies. These possibly included the forced employment of Black people into the armed forces and by forcing them to stay in neighbourhoods, where in the absence of decent health care, they would be devastated by disease, and possibly mass executions may have also contributed to the rapid population disappearance in the last two decades of the 19th century. Such mass killings may have gone generally unreported, as similar to the ethnic cleansing of native populations in Patagonia sanctioned by the Argentine government.
Epidemics, especially of yellow fever in 1871: the traditional history holds that the epidemics had greater impact in areas where the poorest people lived.
Emigration. Large numbers of Afro-Argentines emigrated particularly to Uruguay and Brazil, where black populations had historically been larger and had a more favorable political climate;
Massive immigration from Europe between 1880 and 1950, boosted by the Constitution of 1853, that quickly multiplied the country's population. Like White Australia policy in the 1900s to 1970s, European immigrants were encouraged while non-Europeans were virtually excluded.
All children born after 1813 were automatically free, but Afro-Argentines who were already slaves were not freed, and were only granted their freedom as a condition of fighting in Argentina's wars. For this reason, African males had disproportionate numbers in the Argentine war of independence from Spain. A much larger proportion of men of African descent were killed in the war than men of Spanish descent.
An Afro-Argentine had less chance of survival if free than if enslaved: slaves were seen as investments and taken good care of, while free Afro-Argentines were left with menial jobs for low pay, or forced to become beggars. This caused much poverty in the Afro-Argentine community; many succumbed to disease because they could not afford proper medical care, in many cases during frequent plagues of diseases such as yellow fever.
Present
Today in Argentina, the Afro-Argentine community is beginning to emerge from the shadows. There have been black organizations such as "Grupo Cultural Afro," "SOS Racismo," and perhaps the most important group "Africa Vive" that help to rekindle interest into the African heritage of Argentina. There are also Afro-Uruguayan and Afro-Brazilian migrants who have helped to expand the African culture. Afro-Uruguayan migrants have brought candomble to Argentina, while Afro-Brazilians teach capoeira, orisha, and other African derived secula. It has been well over a century since Argentina has reflected the African racial ancestry in its census count. Therefore, calculating the exact number of Afro-descendants is very difficult; however, Africa Vive calculates that there are about 1,000,000 Afro-descendents in Argentina. The last census, carried on 27 October 2010, introduced the African ancestry survey.

THE RELINQUISH OF FEAR... OBASANJO RAISED ALARM, ACUSES BUHARI PLOTTING TO ARREST HIM
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has accused the Buhari administration
of plotting to slam false charges on him, to pave the way for his indefinite
detention.
The former leader said the government was planning to use fake documents
and witnesses against him.
Mr Obasanjo said this in a statement by his media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, on
Friday.
The claim is the latest twist after weeks of bitter exchanges between the two
leaders, who fell apart after Mr Obasanjo accused Mr Buhari or ineptitude
and corruption, and advised him not to seek reelection.
Mr Buhari responded recently by accusing his predecessor of frittering away
$16 billion on phoney electricity projects. Mr Obasanjo hit back at the
“ignorant” claim.
Speaking via his aide on Friday, the former president said plans to silence
him were in two fold, among which is a plot to cause the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to reopen investigation into the
activities of his administration.
He said the Buhari administration had also perfected a plan to use fake
documents and witnesses against him. He said this will be a re-enactment of
the Abacha era in which he (Obasanjo) was detained on trumped up charges.
The presidency could not be immediately reached for comments.
The former president said he had been told that his name was on the
government’s “watch list”, and that the security of his life cannot be
guaranteed.
He however said no amount of campaign of calumny, no matter how well
contrived, orchestrated or marketed would deter him from speaking out.
“Since Chief Olusegun Obasanjo declared in his State-of-the-Nation Special
Statement on January 23, 2018, the desperation to frustrate, intimidate and
blackmail him into abandoning his divine mandate to protect the rights of the
people to better life and living continued unabated and has even taken a
bizarre dimension,” the statement said.
The statement said the first option to silence him was to seize his
international passport and clamp him into detention indefinitely, in order to
prevent him from further expressing angst on the “pervasive mediocrity in the
quality of governance, economic management and in the protection of lives
and property by the Government”.
Part of statement is below:
‘Impeccable security sources have alleged Chief Obasanjo’s name is on their
Watch List and that the security of his life cannot be guaranteed. According
to these informants, many of who are in the top echelon of the Nation’s
security management and close to the corridors of power, the operatives are
daily perfecting how to curtail the personal liberties of the former President
and hang a crime on him’.
‘Ordinarily, we would not have dignified these reports with a response but for
the fact that many of these informants are not known for flippant and
frivolous talks. Secondly, this Government has demonstrably exhibited apathy,
and in some cases, encouraged by its conduct, daily loss of lives and property
in many States of the country, the office cannot be indifferent.
“We are currently in a nation where the Number Three citizen is currently
being harangued and the Number Four citizen is facing similar threat within
the same Government they serve. There is a groundswell of our nationals
that live in fear that they could be hounded, harassed, maimed or even killed
as the battle for 2019 takes this worrisome dimension.
“For Chief Obasanjo, this is a joke carried too far and being someone who do
not act on unofficial information, he had cautioned all informants and
adopted a wait-and-see attitude to the bestial propositions allegedly being
contemplated to cow, cage and embarrass him.
“The content of the alleged beastly designs, it was learnt are two-fold for
now. One, to seize his International Passport and clamp him into detention
indefinitely, in order to prevent him from further expressing angst on the
pervasive mediocrity in the quality of governance, economic management and
in the protection of lives and property by the Government.
“But, since that could expose the Government to a swath of international
condemnation, embarrassment and outrage, it is said that another plot being
hatched is to cause the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
to re-open investigation into the activities of Chief Obasanjo’s administration
using false witnesses and documents. This will be a re-enactment of the
Abacha era in which Chief Obasanjo was one of the principal victims’.
‘The same EFCC that had conducted a clinical investigation on the activities
of Obasanjo in and out of Government, it was said, would now be made to
stand down the existing report that gave Chief Obasanjo a clean bill of health
on the probes are now to get him indicted, fair or foul for possible
prosecution and persecution like it is being done to real and perceived
opponents, enemies and critics of this Government’.
‘Dissent is a fundamental principle on which liberal democracy is predicated.
A true democrat must be ready to live with and accommodate dissent and
opposition. While it is regrettable how the Government has sunk in its
shameless desperation to cow opposition, a resort to blackmail, despotism
and Gestapo-tactics being employed by the goons of this Government would
not hold water. And no government ever remains in power forever.
‘For the record, Chief Obasanjo reiterates his readiness to face probe again
after that of the House of Representatives, the Senate, the ICPC, and the
EFCC, but before an independent, objective and credible panel of enquiry to
account for his stewardship in Government and beyond’.
‘Chief Obasanjo reiterates that he has taken a principled position to ensure
that the ship of the Nigerian State does not capsize and he remains steadfast
in his resolve to turn the tide of maladministration, poor economic
management and rudderless governance model that has tore Nigerians apart
on account of religion and ethnicity which is a great threat to our democracy’.
‘We would like the Government and its supporters to understand that no
amount of campaign of calumny, no matter how well contrived, orchestrated
or marketed would deter Chief Obasanjo from calling a spade by its name.
Chief Obasanjo is a patriot whose sole agenda is to ensure that the country’s
unity, progress and democracy are not negotiated on the altar of
incompetence and provincialism and mediocrity.
‘It is important to point out that Chief Obasanjo is one former President and
Head of State who has engaged the current administration privately and in a
bilateral manner on several issues of direct interest to the government and
other matters of national concern. That channel of private engagement
remains open and continues. However, should there be the need for public
engagement, the right to free speech will always be exercised and jealously
guarded, again in the best interest of Nigeria and the government.”
